Despair

In the midst of despair I found myself

It’s still fall out, but am already in winter

What a time to sit with my shadow

After the light is block she emerges

She says, “Hey look at me! Am you!”

I turned towards her and I see is me

I asked, “where are you? All I see is me”

She replies, “we are the same, just negative labels. That society has place on me. Set me free! I beg you!”

I reply, “ my light is broken too. We cannot escape.”

Shadow says, “trust me, just follow my lead then, I will set us both free.”

Just turn off your light and let our love guide us.

Let’s dive in love to be free.

Always remember, in the midst of despair only our own love can save us.

The Rejected

Fuck Society!

The Business world rejected me fresh out of college

Then my next adventure in politics, I was rejected too

Use my gift in the hospital and ended up rejected

Went into teaching and was rejected.

They all wonder what was that thing about me that made me so powerful

My energy scared them.

Try getting into business and they only way I made it was as investor

I am too special to fit in a box

I break the boxes I try to fit in

All I ever wanted was to experience the mundane

But I turned the mundane into the most unique experience.

Rejected for being amazing

Society

Oh you insane criminal!

Labels me society.

The doctors labeled me insane, mentally ill.

The cops labeled me as a criminal.

The psych ward patients labeled me the holy spirit.

No regular job will hire me with those labels.

My only options are to be label disabled, win the lottery, or marry rich.

Other see me as healer

Who is the bipolar now?

The world is an asylum

The system is broken

Everybody is tired of the nonsense

I want out!

The being of light says “You are doing good job sweetie.”

I wonder what’s the point of being awake?

It feels like being sober around drunk people

What are chakras and meridians?

Chakras and meridians are two interconnected systems from ancient healing traditions that describe how life force energy flows through the body.

Chakras come from the yogic traditions of India. The word chakra means “wheel” in Sanskrit, symbolizing spinning energy centers along the spine. There are seven main chakras, each linked to physical, emotional, and spiritual aspects of life. Starting from the base of the spine and moving upward, they are:

  1. Root (Muladhara): grounding, survival, security.
  2. Sacral (Svadhisthana): creativity, pleasure, emotions.
  3. Solar Plexus (Manipura): confidence, willpower, personal power.
  4. Heart (Anahata): love, compassion, relationships.
  5. Throat (Vishuddha): communication, truth, expression.
  6. Third Eye (Ajna): intuition, insight, wisdom.
  7. Crown (Sahasrara): spiritual connection, unity, higher consciousness.

Balanced chakras are said to support overall well-being, while blockages may manifest as physical illness or emotional distress. Practices like meditation, yoga, breathwork, and energy healing are used to harmonize them.

Meridians come from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). They are energy pathways that run throughout the body, much like invisible rivers. Life force energy, called Qi (chi), flows through these meridians to nourish organs, tissues, and systems. There are twelve primary meridians corresponding to major organs (such as lungs, heart, stomach, kidneys, and liver), plus additional channels that regulate balance.

When Qi flows smoothly, the body is healthy; when blocked or stagnant, it can cause pain or disease. Techniques like acupuncture, acupressure, tai chi, and qigong are designed to restore flow along the meridians.

Together, chakras and meridians describe a holistic map of the human energy system. Chakras act like central hubs of energy, while meridians serve as highways connecting those hubs throughout the body. Both frameworks emphasize the deep connection between body, mind, and spirit, offering pathways for healing, balance, and self-awareness.

My Neighbors Trees

I do not know your names but you gave shades during the sunny hot days of summer.

I always look forward to your changes.

I love watching you during the spring as your leaves blossom.

In fall I love watching your leaves change colors.

But the other day, I finally saw you in your glory.

It was just the 4 of you standing next to each other strong and powerful.

And what I saw was not just your essence but the essence of my soul.

For what I see in you, exists in me.

About Me

My name Stephanie and I live in New Jersey. By trade I am a former Spanish educator, Markerter and currently a Reiki Master and Artist. I paint abstract art, write poems and dance.

I am in service to others in different ways, I help older adults navigate social security and other benefits. I serve as emotional support to my peers.

I’m mentally disabled but still in service in my spare time while I am not writing, painting, learning, doing reiki, dancing, in the sauna or going for acupuncture.

I see a therapist, energy healer and a psych doctor once a month.

After my last relapse I took my wellness seriously and I am about holistic wellness and taking care of myself mind, body and spirit.

I will share more about my mental health journey and education as I hold an undergrad degree in marketing, masters degree in education and certifications in holistic wellness and reiki. Currently working in a digital marketing certification.

Cinnamon spiritual uses

Lately I have been manifesting with cinnamon

I use a green candle of any size and sprinkle cinnamon powder with my abundance manifestation.

Another thing I use is cinnamon tea, I boiled cinnamon sticks and set the intention for health and abundance and drink the tea with honey for sweet results

Lastly the the boiled water of cinnamon I put it in spray bottle and spray it around the house and myself for protection and abundance.

Connecting with the Universe

Have you ever wonder how to connect to the Universe/Higher self?

The simple way to make the connection is to use Objective questions.

The Universe will always support you as long your questions are positive and objective.

Think about it, If the Universe default answer is yes to your questions, you will have negative responses when your thinking and questions are negative.

Remember this, The Universe default answer is Yes.

The question should always be positive and objective.

Would I ever found love? Instead of would I always be lonely?

Also, remember to make your positive objective questions in the present tense, after all time is an illusion and we always living in the now.

Emotions

What are emotions?

Emotions, it is like owning a hotel and they come to visit you.

The hotel is your mindset.

Anger, sadness, joy, happiness etc, they are just guests.

How you deal with them are your coping skills or the activities that your hotel offer them.

Some of the coping skills or activities can be exercise such yoga, kickboxing, zumba, artistic activities such as making abstract art, ceramic, collage, writing, happy hours.

It is to each individual to create the best hotel for your guests. Every guest will want to partake in some activity, find the ones that satisfied your guests.

What are some of your activities?

Self care

If you are feeling stress or overwhelmed with life, here are some tips to decompress.

  1. Abstract Art: just paint anything that comes to your mind using any tools such as coloring pencils, pastels, and watercolors
  2. Visualization: Imagine yourself in a relaxing and fun place of your choice, can be anything such as the beach, the forest, hiking, swimming
  3. Aromatherapy: Essentials oils such frankcense, lavender, and orange. You can buy a diffuser from Amazon or other retails
  4. Dance: Play your favorite songs and just dance as you please
  5. Journaling: Write about what you are grateful and the new things you want to accomplish
